I been with 5 companies in 9 months. Is it OK too leave out the companies on the application that I didn't get experience at to get with another company? No company is willing to hire me when I tell them I been at 5 companies in a short period of time.

I am not being a wise guy here, this is being offered with proper respect.

The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

I can't answer the question you asked, the only thing I can say is why would you want to get another job in trucking?

NO! If these 5 jobs were driving a CMV you must disclose the job history. Hand, you are slowly screwing yourself into the ground here. Your situation is not career fatal however you have got to stop the dang job hopping. Find a job and STAY THERE!

Go to Craigslist and look for companies that pay on 1099 and you'll find something.
Doubtful any reputable company will take a chance on you, but some of those 1099 outfits don't care.
I said "some" of them; they're not all that way.

Reputible companies probably won't touch you. So, keep in mind that the 6th company is going to treat you just as bad or worse than the first five. But you need to swallow your pride and tough it out for a while if you want a career in trucking. 2 years would be a good idea. Just my opinion.

Sure, why not. Just list the one you actually did some time with. If any of the others get called into question, you could say you did not think you actually made it to the official hired state. (Not sure what you mean "that I didn't get experience at" but I assume you may not have even made it past orientation?)

But you really need to do more homework next time. No more backing out for you, bud. You done burned all your

5 companies in 9 months = Unstable Work History
You have to be able to account for employment from last 10 years in this industry.

Last summer I helped a young driver that went through 3 jobs in a bit over 7 months. He lost out on a dream job because of his history. I called a friend that works in Human Resources with a local grocery company. On my word they took a chance on him. I then went to his home and told him I would rearrange his face as I broke his bones if he quit or was fired off that job. Last I heard he is still there. Working like heck but working. Job hopping is not fatal, but I have learned over time that the only substance harder then a diamond is a truck drivers head.
