I think that companies might even check out this forums themselves. Anybody remember what happened to that guy who drove for Melton? He had to go to the shop so he got stinking drunk at the hotel and wrote about it here. He got to the termimal and was informed that he and Melton were going separate ways.

Some employer's check on all online activity. One thing to remember. Once it hits the WWW it is there forever. People ofton don't consider there are thousands if not hundreds of thousands of internet bots crawling the web each and every day. In fact the web as most of us know it would not be possible without said bots. Some of these bots are using facial recognition software. Facebook has recently started doing this.

This is why I never complain about my motor carrier online. In fact, I try never to mention for whom I drive, although I might have slipped and said in a thread "I drive for them too"

I have no problem complaining about Shaffer, but I also say the good as well. If there wasn't more good than bad, I wouldn't be there any more.

That’s why I waited until after I told them what they could do with the job.

Yeah, she'll be back. I do wish her luck though, it's tough for a lady in this industry.

The funny part is, he had actually complained in an earlier thread about one of his (many) previous bosses calling him a woman... seems to be a trend.

I don't think he's really a bad guy. He's just misguided and doesn't seem able to take good advice when it's offered to him. He reminds me of a spoiled little kid who, given everything he wants, demands more and more and more.
One guy like him can poison a whole crew.
I hope his attitude changes, and soon too. He keeps looking for that perfect job and, as most of us know, there isn't any such thing.
LOL...if there was it wouldn't be open anyway.

His problem is he in immature. And I'm using that as a definition, not an insult...
He keeps coming here whining about stuff any grown adult know is either none of their business (see this thread and it's gossip, no actual facts by the op) or knows it needs to be changed, and actually change.

When it's pointed out he is being immature, he goes into a fit trying to explain why he is an adult, all the while highlighting his immaturity. Then he goes and does the same thing next week. It gets old.

Basically he's a high school drama queen that wants attention and it gets old week after week after week. We have tried to help him grow up, but like the saying goes, one can lead a horse to water....
