Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I will try to post my experience with crete again I’m crossing my fingers that I’m averaging more miles I’m happy with 2500 paid miles I can’t do as long when I will be on the road again 4-5 weeks

 

Getting 2500 a week is easy

 

I've been back at Crete since before Christmas. 0-4 on local driving jobs.

Been averaging almost 400 miles per day that I drive. Communication between dispatch and driver is a lot better since I was here last time. I've had no mechanical problems.

Big change, though, in Lincoln. They changed food services in cafeteria a couple weeks ago.

Great time to come onto Crete. Been told they are having to turn down lots of loads from current customers just because of lack of drivers, but Crete is close to all time high for trucks. Also Wal-Mart decided to stay with Crete at Cheyenne and Paul's Valley. Not sure how that happened but says a lot for the Crete reputation and state of affairs.

 

I believe it Crete’s a good company in my opinion they want me out 4-6 weeks but I need to see how my eye does

 

Are they trying out KW's? (maybe I asked that already). Saw 2 T680's over the last week, with 5 digit company numbers (I think they started 43###)

 

They've got 150 to try, if all goes well we will get more from what I heard.

 

I had one at Big G...10x better than any International, 5x better then a Cascadia. I wish my company would buy them...they're a whole lot better looking than an Anthem.
