He gives some good advice at the beginning and then offers personal experience as examples.

I think a few weeks ago I said I turn down bad weather loads.
Well maybe not so much. :)

But the north east is better with snow removal than anywhere else. More of the norm I guess.

Yep that's the best advice period. Even if the officer has a chip on his shoulder just keep it to yes Sir.
Must of those guys are alright though. They like trucks. lol

That filter shouldn't dictate how much air will be coming out of your outlets. It could be you either have a disconnected, torn, or smashed duct line. Or something possibly up with your blower.

So this literally just happened at the J in Ardmore, OK and I don't mind giving aid if needed (and a lot of other truckers don't mind either), but there is a wrong way and a right way to do it.

Coming up and jumping on my door step as soon as you heard my brakes set and shoving your (probably fake) gold and diamond ring in my face and demanding I help you buy gas to get home and repeating over and over that you have kids alone in the car while you walk around the truck area (fuel pumps and parking lot) is the wrong way. She was also getting all up in others personal bubble shoving that ring in their faces while they are walking into the store, back to their trucks or while trying to get fuel.

First of all, why is your kids alone in a car at a truck stop where anyone could just take them and would have no idea it happened until it's too late. And, second of all, shouldn't have taken that trip if you didn't have the funds to complete the trip.

I get that stuff happens, but being unprepared for stuff that could happen on your trip is your own stupidity and lack of financial planning. Also, demanding that someone help you is not how you get help. No one owes you any help what so ever. And demanding it is the way not to get it. If she would have gone about a more polite and sensible manner of "asking" for help, I probably would have provided $20 for some gas, but not when come at me like ask a crazy person.

    That is all.
