Ugliness at truck stops

From my limited experience, the worst thing at truck stops was noise and the dirty bathrooms.

Now that's some birth contro...err..######. I really should listen to that voice at times that tells me to not say/type something. Sadly today won't be that day.

An yes...prices at truck stops, they ain't just ugly their fugly. They make the ugliest dog winner look like a beauty queen. Just so you know what the ugliest dog looks like for comparison..

Rumor is this is what the guy who drove the truck through that air base fence on meth looked like in his mugshot.

I can't speak for Chinatown but in my case after dealing with ignorant people at pickups/deliveries there comes a time a driver just want's to be alone without the stress of driving and find some sanity. My last few years on the road I hardly ever used a CB, I hardly ever sat in terminal break rooms and avoided the driver counters like the plague. It was not because I was antisocial. I just started becoming scared their stupid would wear off on me. Edited: This started for me late in 2000. I will never forget that evening. The biggest story in the news was the Florida recount. I was sitting at the driver counter at the Duncan SC TA. A driver made a comment about some people in the Florida panhandle leaving the lines after the Networks first called Florida for Al Gore. A guy sitting across from me said with a straight face there is no time zone boundary in Florida. He was wearing a stinky Simon baseball cap and I will never forget that guys face. I actually stopped paying attention to the conversation and just sit there marveling in just how fricking stupid he was. I waited on him to think about that comment for several minutes and correct it. He never did. Honestly, sometimes I believe stupid can be caught like a disease.
