Can you warm up with food with no inverter?

Just how freaking long did you leave it on there? I would always set them on while loading/unloading or during engine cool down time at the end of the day. 30 minutes was enough for whatever i was heating to be the perfect eating temperature.

 

Honestly...I forgot about it..

Yes, but heating food without a microwave generally requires either fire, or a heating element. Both of which can be fire hazards. Most truck stops have a microwave if you buy something from tham, you can heat it and take it back to the truck.

I've been without a microwave or food heater of any kind in my truck for a year now. I eat a lot of cold sandwiches and salads. I also eat in restaurants more than I probably should.

light a fire on the outside of course . that outback trucker show there always cooking out side using the trailer as a bench top.

 

Just do like Red Green does it.

 

That takes all the fun out of telling someone to do it in that way.
