I always said that about working for the beer company when I worked there. I always made sure that my paper work and numbers and money was all in order because after a while all that counts for something too. Actually with the beer company driving was just a bi-product of that job, most of that job was everything but driving.
Dumdriver Thanks this. -
What if that other driver ever gets on here and reads?

I just hope the driver learned from his mistake. Things do happen but as drivers we have to learn from them. It is best to prevent them in the first place. BTW this company is not as small as people here think. We have 30+ drivers.
I'm not even talking trash im just putting this out there so hopefully anyone that reads this doesn't make similar errors.
It's best to have as much knowledge as possible so we can avoid these things in the first place. Years ago when I was a milk receiver I watched a milk truck burn to the ground because the driver took a turn too fast. The truck was not a Walton truck but another company's truck. Milk hauling is a huge industry in my neck of the woods. The driver lived but the rig was completely destroyed.
It was probably a good thing I saw that years ago, because I have more respect for smooth bore tankers. Smooth bore tankers are unforgiving if you take turns too fast.
Learn from the mistakes of others. If I make a mistake someday, I would hope someone else would also learn from my errors. Hell I would even tell others about my mistake openly. Hey I screwed this or that up, don't be like me. Lol
No hard feelings. Try to help others out with knowledge. Even when I'm the on making the screw up. -
