    Meritain.com
    An Aetna company.
The name of the plan is
    Aetna Choice POS ll
    Office visit $15
    Specialist $15
    ER :$65
You don't need a referral for a specialist.
They have a network of doctors on their website that participate in the plan. Punch in the city/zip code and the type of doc you want to see and it will give you a list to choose from. If you use a doctor outside the plan it cost more. Plus you have to get pre-certified for certain surgical types of procedures. Basically it just means making an extra phone call or two. You'll get a plastic card to present when you go to the doctor. There is a Meritain 800 # on it to call if you have questions.

IMO: It's a good plan for a single man on the move.

hi Chemster! I found this thread when looking for truckers with experience routing through Blaine, WA -- and here you are. I'm hoping you might be game to speak with me for an article I'm writing about Blaine. If so, would you email me? Alex [at] alexandrasamuel.com Thanks!

We had Aetna over here before Daseke bought us, not sure if it was a POS plan...we're switching to some self funded "in-house" medical coverage. Gawd help us.

Truth in advertising ? Shocking !
Nothing against Aetna. I just find the insurance business full of legal fraud and Washington DC encourages the bs. All insurance. Car health life mortgage, whatever.

Poly is self insured as well. It’s just that Meritan ran it.

We are right at 0.61/0.62 mile and probably turn quite a few more miles a week than Estes does.

Idk I am home every weekend running extra board. 2800-3100 sleeping in hotels and Estes top rate as of now is .665. Usually raise yearly. Plus you get paid to break and build sets and it’s all terminal to terminal drop hook

Basically means you're hired as long as you don't have any physical issues. If you have any questions let me know. Good luck.
