Where Are You Continues, Again.....

You GOT IT SIR! I'm not there any more... but yeah... I knew you would know it... that place just looks like one where you would go for parking and food...
The only thing not so good is all the mud and the huge pot holes everywhere... but hey, maybe that keeps some folks out of there, huh?

 

And now finishing my meal in the truck here... at a Pilot on I-30 TX.... There was A LOT of "crazy" drivers out there today... Going to leave around 2:30 am and hopefully there will not be too much traffic... Gotta go thru Austin...
Then will do my groceries at Walmart before I resume my driving tomorrow to Laredo... and will take my 34 at some truck stop there... Hopefully they will not be too full in the morning.... as I hope many drivers went home for the holiday and left their trucks at the terminal or somewhere else other than at the truck stops... Wishful thinking maybe...?

 

Everything went exactly as I planned today..
Did my shopping at WM... found a GREAT spot to park at their parking lot at 5 am... no difficulty to leave...
Didn't encounter any traffic going thru Austin, TX...
Saw a few accidents though...
When I arrived at the truck stop of my preference, found this AWESOME parking spot... It couldn't be better than this....

Gonna deliver on Tuesday about 15 mins from here... and then rush to next shipper for reload and then going to OK..
How are y'all doing on this beautiful Sunday... at least it's beautiful here...

 

WOW... it's really hot in this parking lot.... The sun is burning, really burning... temp is 106F
This truck stop should have a nice big swimming pool in the back of the parking lot.... I would love to swim some and then lay down on a float on the water, exposing my skinny bones in the sun and get a nice tan not only on my left arm...

 

I may be in Oklahoma Thursday if my plan holds together. Course my plans fall apart fast most times

 

LOL... understood... so that's trucking sir...
The truck and trailer are due for PM at company terminal... So, I think after I deliver somewhere in OK, the dispatcher may route me to the terminal in OKC which will be about 150 miles away...

 

In Florence for a 10...then off to Brunswick in the a.m. Hopefully the storm will stay far enough West I can unload and reload tomorrow and get pointed back North!!
