For all the cards offered to us, the NASTC card is hands down the best discounts for small fleets. Pay the yearly fee and sit through the sales pitch then move on. It's worth the lost revenue for a couple days to get to the New member entrance class out of the way. It used to be if you had five plus trucks you could skip the new entrance class. They also offer some decent discounts on PrePass, and although I don't currently use it, the safety emails make sense.

Don't forget their $2.50 swipe fee out of network. In the little over two years I've been using RTS, the out of network fee has increased from I think $1.00 to $2.50. I find the undiscounted fuel at Speedway in Barkeyville and the extra $2.00 swipe fee is usually still cheaper than the discounted Pilot fuel in Emlenton with only $.50 swipe fee. That only normally effects me for a couple months a year though. I usually fuel at Truck World, Sapp Bros, or Fuel King out in Napoleon the rest of the year.

Got my new RTS Fleet one card and been using it this week. Flying J and Pilot are the major ones in the network. Right now .12 off the cash price. One place I fuel regular is a BP station. I get .36 off cash price. Not bad.

We are currently seeing .18-.20 off pump price at T.A., Petro, and speedway. Just going back to last week we were seeing .43 off a gallon. It vary's daily based on various factors.

Rts and Nastc have the same discount on all participating truckstops except one difference when it comes to largest chains.
With Rts you get 12 cents off at Pilots and with Nastc it's cost plus 3 cents at TA/Petro. Usually it's around 30 cents discount, but can be anywhere from 10 cents to 60. I think the highest I got was 62 cents.

If you are leased on it isn't mandatory. If the dot numbers are in your name then I understand that you have to attend one.
That's what they told me when I joined. Great fuel card unless you are in an area that doesn't have many network stops. I have not had an issue find a network stop in my travels.

You can actually save about $450 a year. Not going to the class also means you must pay about $33 a month, although it does come with a service. If you will be getting the service, then it is only $50 a year.
