So your saying you can't use a phone any more but you can use a tablet to look at the load board?

 

No u can still use it for a bit. They will prob announce when they are gonna move its still in the works its not fully done yet

 

I just clocked it because I was curious. But for me to put in an arrival call on the app takes less than 10 seconds. To go through the Cweb will take nearly a minute by the time my phone pulls it up, I type my stuff in, etc.

Oh and I could do it on the app while walking up to the door/person. Can't type and walk to save my life tho lol

Second time I have been burned by a shipper in ma by cancelling my load a day before I load. Scratch them off the list!

 

Landstar and Bennett both have a lot more military freight than Mercer. I think the van guys are getting quite a bit better rates as well. Our van rates are still good but across the board LS has better.

LS and Bennett are probably much better places to be if a guy wants to specialize and get away from general van and flat freight. Not much for that here at Mercer.

Same here. Mercer has been having record revenue months this year, they can afford to have both.
