Everyone messes up every now and again,I once knocked off a marker light on a blindside back on a roof awning stuck out, I called the boss and told him about it, and offered to pay for it, he said, “Meh, if that’s all you did don’t worry about it.”
Two weeks later he told me another driver tore the roof half offcoastietruckin' Thanks this. -
Blow out. Damaged tire. Lost a recap. Never popped. No no no.

First time most likely it will be considered an incident not an accident and handled internally. I don't see this being a problem with your present job. Stop worrying about it. Next time watch that!

I think Opie will probably get canned. One thing union guys hate is new union guys, "probies" even more. I'd be printing off resumes and filling online apps tonight if I was he.

Yeah it's an "incident" not accident. Is this at your dock or a customer dock. One piece of advice since you're a newb. As a professional driver, you need to survey the situation BEFORE you get your truck too far in, in other words, ask yourself, will my truck fit into or thru this space ? You should have noticed this is a tight space and previous drivers have brushed this cinder block, however I'M NOT going to brush against it because I'm a pro ! ! luck to ya'
Lepton1, coastietruckin' and okiedokie Thank this.
