Terrible shippers/receivers for reefers

We rarely do loads to Sysco and try and avoid them altogether and the reason is too many of them take well beyond the norm (time) to unload.

 

Americold in Atlanta, laziest of the laziest sorry slow employees. Other Americolds are quite a bit better, Atlanta Americold is a disgrace

 

Win Dixie any of them. Or any place that uses capstone lumpers.

 

Winn-Dixie tries to pressure drivers to use lumpers. I quit going there years ago because of that. One time in Florida the dock supervisor cornered me and gave a sob story that I should hire a lumper because the lumper has a sick child at home and needs the money. I refused, and told him I also need the money. The lumper later said he has to pay kickbacks to the dock supervisor.

 

It is..been going there a few years..in one of the receiving offices on the wall someone wrote #### this place.. mgt there has not even bothered to erase it because they too probably know it sucks so bad. All the around the whole place sucks and takes forever to load or unload..employees scuff everywhere and it takes them 5 minutes to walk 20 feet.

 

Any fresh kill chicken load. Takes forever waiting. The stench is real.

 

Is it americold that tries to make you pay if you are "late for picking up" ?
I think there was one in pa I went to once that tried it. I had just gotten the load and they tell me I'm late and cough up or we aren't loading you. Ok, keep it.

No shortage of shysters everywhere you turn. They sure are abundant if you pull an ice box.

 

I've paid $125 to Americold for being early.
