Walmart Drivers need to quit now

By policy we are not allowed.

 

Good News we just put all new hires back up to senior driver pay and adding some programs back. and will be adding drivers again

 

That’s what I heard on Friday.. they will still have to share trucks, tho?

 

They are looking at changing that also

 

Any new driver will start extra board. So yeah he will be covering in another truck for vacations, sick days, leave etc.

After awhile they can get on a program, right now maybe even a full time truck. But yes even then on your days off someone will be running store loads in that truck.

 

Less slip seating but not an elimination.

 

Nope, they don't. 4-5 of them started at my DC last year. Said they work/push themselves less, less stress, more days off, and make more.

It's only the newbies out of school that make more than us. Can't tell them any different, don't need those kind here anyways

 

Extra board isn't too bad. I like the routine and same days working and off every week. This is my third week since i transferred and 2 out of 3 weeks ive had a truck all week. Slipping isn't bad as long as its no more than once a week.

 

Most guys getting hire here are going into programs, none are on extra board

 

My trainer extends religiously every week and is a Sunday out extra driver. Said he's be extra board for 15 years. It justs works for some.
