The place I parked yesterday for the tire repair... there was a small restaurant where truckers and other folks would stop by for a quick meal... food must be good... I saw people coming and going non-stop....
and the decoration inside was pretty much about trucks and roads... kinda country old style...

No pictures of the inside... took pictures of some old little tractors and stuff outside...

And I am still dealing with breakdowns.... :biggrin_2552: It's been one after another... and another...
After the tire blowout yesterday, 2 engine lights came on the dash and DEF light blinking... :biggrin_1square8:
And I thought this problem had been fixed a month or so ago...
Traffic was totally INSANE!!! Yesterday was the day EVERYBODY decided to hit the road...:biggrin_1square1:
Truck lost power... drove 200 miles at 55 mph to get to nearest Freightliner.... and did I mention that the traffic was INSANE most of the time? :biggrin_2552:

    So now I am here...

    118_8458.JPG
Actually, I moved to that empty spot in front....
And now truck is at the shop..
And as my GUT feeling had told me one month ago... I thing the DPF filters are clogged up and will need to be replaced... cause my company doesn't bother to have them cleaned when they should.... :biggrin_1square8:

    MagnumaMoose and BigBob410 Thank this.

Yeah, I drove back to Cincinnati from about Menomonee WI, yesterday, and had to fight through Madison, Minneapolis,Chicagoland, and Indy, because of cars loaded with vacation stuff. Looks like everyone's bailing a week early for the Fourth...

    MagnumaMoose and BigBob410 Thank this.

And not only that... but also... the same leakage came back... the repair done at Freightliner Indianapolis last Monday didn't last very long... :angry1:

I wonder if there's some valve inside that hole that is connected to the hose and it is not working properly... the clamp is as tight as it can be but it's still leaking....

Anyway... it looks like I'll stay here at least till Monday... This Freightliner will close this afternoon and it will be closed tomorrow... if they can't move the truck outside, will have to check in a hotel... :biggrin_2552:

The Supe 8 nearby is pet friendly... which scares me... cause of bed bugs and other ticks... :biggrin_2552:

    MagnumaMoose and BigBob410 Thank this.
