What day is payday at Prime? I can't seem to find anywhere that says what it is currently.

Usually you get paid on a weekday that ends in y.

The whole reason I asked was due to conflicting answers that said either Wednesday or Friday. I figured that asking here was a quick way to get a straight answer.

I forgot who I was talking to.

 

Cutoff for getting it on your check is generally Tuesday at 4 PM Central, unless you and your FM made prior arrangements. You get paid every Friday.

 

Sorry, it was just one of those days when i responded. Cutoff is Tuesday by 1600 Springfield time (i say Springfield time because they march to beat of a different drummer there) or before 1200 in Wednesday of you made arrangements with your dispatcher before Tuesday.

 

anybody doing western regional flatbed? I'm going to SLC for training in two weeks and that's what I'm slated to do. what kind of mileage can I expect?

 

It depends on who your FM is and how hard you want to run.

If you run like a machine and only stop for your 10's, not 11 or 12, they will run you like that. If you take it easy then they will give you easy loads with wait time until delivery or something.

2500-2800 if you like to take it easy. More if you want it, sometimes you need to keep in touch with your FM and let them know you want to run like a machine, if that's what you want.

 

Thanks! starting out I'd take it easy until I get the hang of it more since I can imagine learning experiences popping up that the extra time would help out. it's good to know more is available I was worried regional would have less compared to otr. I've been budgeting based on an average of 2000 miles a week to make sure the pay works for me. more is always better.

 

Can drivers park personal vehicles at terminals, specifically the pittston pa terminal as that’s closest to me.

 

Yes, they have a secure gated area. Not too sure about Pittston, I thinks it's across the street.
