When a load gets rejected through no fault of the driver you gotta call the broker. He usually finds another place to take it to. If its corn beans etc usually ain't a big deal. If its animal by products it can get stupid. The bad part is they have you and the truck over a barrel so they give a rat's and don't negotiate usually. Most times it's fair, just not a home run.


I loaded lamb meal in cabool Missouri for Lebanon Tn got over there and it was rejected for metal. So they paid me to haul to Russellville Arkansas unload it wait on it while the place ran it to clean it up reload it and haul ### right back to Lebanon Tn with it. Bout the time he said we really need you to turn this one pretty quick cause they are out the light bulb went off. My response was speed cost money, how fast do you want it?

We had a load of fish meal get rejected a week or so ago. It ended up going to the St Louis area as I understand it.

My beans checked out good and I got to dump them.
