Don't use the excuse of being a new driver, act professionals and figure out a way around these problems.Lab work, Justrucking2, stwik and 1 other person Thank this. -
My head hurts from reading this. It’s going to be tough to pay your bills when you choose to sit for over 15 hours instead of solving the problem and doing your job like you should have.
Lab work, driverdriver, Justrucking2 and 2 others Thank this. -
How the hell can you be a truck driver if you can't do a blind side? You would quit within 5 hours if you were a P&D driver
Dan.S, Coover, tinytim and 1 other person Thank this. -
The guys who own the trucks are the limiting factor. It's their equipment and I signed a contract.SingingWolf Thanks this. -

Get the job done driver. Doing it safely and without incident, no matter the technique, is the most important thing. Eff "company policy".

Companies will do this regardless of what drivers do. Its their company. They can set whatever weird ### rules they want. This kid not breaking them IS being a professional. Not walking away #####ing IS being a professional. However i will say, being a driver isn't always a profession. For some its just a job. There has to be low paying gigs, and crap hour gigs, and hard work gigs. Cuz... its a job. No amount of quitters will change that. If everyone who ran those crap runs or cheap miles really shut down, literally everyone, you know what would happen? Either the government would get involved, or they would pay more. But in both cases the end result is stuff will cost alot more. Thus negating the bouns gained.
KillingTime Thanks this.
