And today Mr. Director of Operations told me the company is fixing to buy a few more automatic trucks and wanted to know if I wanted one... And my response was... "Nope"... I love "my" truck... and I want to keep it for as long as it's possible... it's a standard 10 transmission which gives me more control and I dread driving an automatic.
That day will come.. as they can't keep a truck "forever"... but so far, I gotta enjoy my "buddy"... that's how I call the truck... we take good care of each other.

 

Nice ride! What engine is in there?? My brother had a '71 that color. His was a 396, not original, th350 and a 12 bolt with 56s. I had a '72 with a small block.

 

WOW.... Love that vehicle... In Brasil, in the late 70's there used to be a vehicle that looked like that one... it was called "Maverick"... a friend of mine had one... it was super strong and FAST...

Well right now they got a lil 283 in it, but hes got the original numbers matchin 350 tucked away. It needs a big block Chevy and a MAN pedal though! Lol
