Ive used edge protectors when hauling tounge and grove lumber to protect the edges of the lumber.

If y’all don’t wanna take the two minutes to put edge protectors on rough cut lumber thrown on your deck... alright.
I’ve had far too many straps cut and pinched already by crates and all the #### lumber I’ve hauled
johndeere4020 and Tug Toy Thank this. -
I’ve never put edge protectors on lumber. We have a couple customers who want them on the particle board shelving we haul them, and Tolko and Weyerhaeuser require them on t&g OSB. Other than that I only get mine out for drywall.
Highway Sailor, mslashbar, Czar_Zero and 1 other person Thank this. -
Use carpet strips on most lumber loads.
The reason is not so much to protect the straps, it lets them slide smoothly and easily as you tighten the straps.mpd240, LoneCowboy, spyder7723 and 2 others Thank this. -
edge protectors on plywood, osb, t&g decking, any kind of wood siding.
dimensional lumber, composite decking= no edge protectors.
imoBud A. Thanks this. -
MACK E-6 and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

TMC edition dosOLDSKOOLERnWV Thanks this. -
Not sure what you think is wrong. The photo is small and not so good as to see the big picture you do.
I do like the bungees on that bowed up dunnage on the dolly brace.Last edited: Jul 30, 2018

The far landing gear isn't perpendicular. Don't know if it's just the foot is stuck, or the whole thing is bent.
