You are correct, I have a gps (although I don't follow it's exact directions most if the time). I use it primarily to show my distance to delivery, and when headed to a new customer, on the last couple miles so I don't hold up traffic creeping along trying to read addresses and miss my turn. I also have Google Maps on my phone and in case all else fails, I have a laminated carrier atlas. I got tired of carrying around shoeboxes of city maps or calling customers for directions that don't have a clue how trucks are suppose to get to their business...just the way I interpreted the comment you made, it sounded like you might have thought they were a bad thing...if I misunderstood it, my apologies.

I don’t know if anyone here follows freightwippers old Schneider choice thread but for those that remember him he’s apparently not well.

They even called his company and they said he just disappeared.
One driver went to his parents house to find out and his Mom has no idea either and was hoping he was there to tell her what happened.
.
Who knows? It could be an elaborate hoax to screw with his haters. -
Well he now claims to be in a hospital dying so that is a heck of a way to mess with someone else.

Drive 2800 miles a week and out of that 2800 miles .14 CPM is not taxed BUT it lowers your yearly gross.
Example:
@ .51
2800 miles for the week
1428.00 gross
14 CPM is per diem
14 X 2800 miles driven = 392.00 from gross
1036.00 taxable gross
Correct????
