####, I do hope it's not a marketing gimmick for newbies only, because I think .38 is way better than .35, and hopefully it is across the board. They just made the decision last week, per my recruiter, so maybe it hasn't taken effect this second.

Will update if things change, but I've heard no word of it.

No, they’re not likely going to let you bobtail. You can take an empty trailer with you if you have somewhere to park. I know there’s a large Loves not far from Tucson. And, there’s a nice size Little America in Flagstaff. They won’t charge you for fuel.

About $18.00/hr....good luck.

Sounds lile.your one of the ones who fell victim to the ole shell game. They were starting new drivers at 36 cpm 2 years ago. Now they got this thing a few months ago starting new drivers at 35 cpm and holding the raise to 39cpm once you get to a certain amount of miles. In reality its not a bonus at all, they are just holding your money.Frank Speak Thanks this.

One thing I’ve always said about May, besides I got along fine over there, is YOU have to watch what you’re owed like a hawk. They’ll never just offer up that they owe you money, and usually they’ll conveniently forget at least once until they figure out you’re not going to drop it.
I really do feel like the DMs are trained for that. I bet that alone saves May thousands every year; yahoos not keeping up with what they’re owed or not riding their DM to get it.
Screw that! If a multimillion dollar company owes me money, I’ll ride them like a porpoise at Sea World until I get it. Lol -
Your exactly right. I think they are trained for saving $$$. just like insurance agents. I hear about a new pay plan but it's not offered up unless you ask. That's not good for drivers that have been around a while..new drivers coming in at the close to the same as senior drivers..certainly not good for retention.Frank Speak and Trucker Jon Thank this.

Just found out as of August 1st, all new drivers start at .38cpm. Drivers making .35cpm get a .03cpm bonus for every 10,000 miles driven.

Every 10,000 miles of what kind of driving? That's not plausible. That's a monthly load essentially. 10,000 miles of efficient driving? Or you mean 0.003 raise (1/3 of one cent)?
