You get what you pay for. Chinese knockoffs will keep water and sods cool, my fridge/freezer from truckfridge in georgetown keeps ice cream frozen.

Should be SOP to ask for one’s tare weight before handing out a heavy load, just as much for a driver to know what that is, IMHO.

They also sell refurbished units. I ordered some parts from them last year. Pretty easy to work with.

Ageed. I've had mine for 5 years with no problems and it will still keep ice cream frozen which might be why I'm so fat. A buddy of mine bought a dorm fridge at Walmart the same time I bought my Truckfridge and he's had to replace it three times.

Every trucks empty weight is in the system and the computer won't match you to loads you can't haul legally. these are low pay entry level positions so many of these people have no clue about anout trucks, so you get some young guy with no real dispatch experience, and he is out to "prove" himself so looks at the uncovered load list and he searches for every truck that's empty or headed to the area and starts calling all of them. Basically they go into sales mode and they dont know enough about trucks to understand why John can load 50k with his 228 inch wheel base 48 inch flat top but Dan can only load 42k with his 308 inch wheel base 130 inch ari w900

I got a 2 door dorm fridge, Galanz brand, from Walmart, cost me $150ish... Been going 2 yrs without a problem. I have to keep it on the nest to warmest setting or it freezes everything.
I also put a couple layers of foam under it, to help reduce the vibrations.
