It’s on a very selective basis, but yes they do.

60K for staying out "almost the whole year"..? Don't sell yourself so short. You could probably do better. Nothing wrong with being out on the road, it's a personal choice, and personally I really like it.... til My 55 year old bones need a break.
I just recently switched over to hauling glass at my company...18 months recent experience with them in flatbed, and I'm at .59 a mile plus tarp and glass pay.
IF I stayed out most of the year.... which I calculate as 48 weeks.... is $84,860 plus tarp plus glass pay etc.... Just plugging in numbers here.... I just switched over about 5 weeks ago now.

My thought is that if you want to be out for extended periods, run wild, you can do better than 60k..... if you could avg 3000 a week, at .50 a mile plus other pay, and run 48 weeks....You should be able to do 72k I'd think. Just plug in the numbers, play with it. Build up a nice nest egg.... but enjoy the ride.
A suggestion, in my first two years or so, way back in the 80's, I ran wild, had no wife, no child, no steady gal, no house... It was fun, mind you the trucks weren't nice like today.... stop and smell the roses out there, see some places, enjoy the sites, with google earth and GPS... you could have a blast and some great experiences. You don't have to live in Truck Stops. Good Luck

Came out of the house today after 6 days off, I bounced down to Sumter, SC and live loaded a load going North Platte, Nebraska. The load isn’t scheduled to deliver until Friday, so I will be dropping it at our drop yard in KCMO. I will then go about 5 miles away and pick up a preloaded trailer going out to Goodyear, Arizona for a Friday morning delivery:

I’ve already gotten my reload information for Friday morning after I get empty in Goodyear, Arizona. I will go six miles away and pick up a load coming back to the KCMO area, for a drop on Sunday.

As good as they run you, it is almost a temptation to come over there and buy a truck from them...no matter how much I like my current situation.

When I get back to Missouri on Saturday/Sunday morning I will have 3625 miles since leaving the house Monday morning. They definitely keep me rolling.

Are you on a mileage or percentage contract?
