They do lease purchase or o/o if you have your own truck. You can pull their trailer for additional 10% of the load.
I'm glad I left them when I did. Things didnt look very good or promising working for them. I did 2.5 years as company driver there and 1 year as owner op. I'm leased onto another small local company that finds me well paying loads. At System average load would pay 1.65/mile, you're gonna be broke sooner than later hauling that cheap.

 

I’m curious how they are doing with the autos and cameras and becoming a student oriented company

 

They will take anyone, as long as you dont show up drunk or high and can sit through orientation.

 

I wonder if joe is still giving is speech about being a lead driver for CRST.

I watched an independent interview with a rookie driver, with System for eight months so far. He said they start you off at .43 cpm, plus tarp and stop pay, so evidently compensation has improved.

 

Well I could probably sit through orientation , but the rest of it I don't know..........

 

Independent rookie driver? Independent from who? British? Lol There's no such thing as independent company driver. Every one of them depends 100% on System for paycheck and decent driver manager otherwise you'll be stuck making $500 a week, which you can earn working at Wal Mart.

 

I didn’t say independent rookie driver, I said independent interview with a rookie driver. As in not sponsored/conducted by the company.

But regardless of company or driver manager, some guys don’t make money. Because they have attitudes, can’t manage their clocks, etc. or are otherwise perpetual malcontents, so they end up complaining on TheTruckersReport more than they get loads...
