Sounds like you hit a snag having to wait that long. We broke down in Augusta yesterday and we are waiting to see if it's "fixed" yet. I hope your day goes better than that.

 

Dispatcher scheduled delivery at that time. It's my first time running up here, now I know and can have her set delivery time when I want.

Thanks. Got the Truck back 5 minutes ago. Now have to go across town and get the trailer. AND dispatch is going to have us swap out with another team to go to Ontario instead of San Diego. Sigh. It's always something around here. Especially lately. This is probably the same load that I picked up Saturday. Which was a HUGE boondoggle.

 

AND since we are in Georgia the massive statewide effort to coordinate every single dang event, pickup, delivery, repair and tow to converge on the illustrious city of Atlanta at precisely 5 pm has paid off AGAIN. Got to love the coordinating effort. Even better ! We get to swap out with the Truck that passed us yesterday and push as hard as humanly possible to deliver in Ontario Friday morning. With, apparently, yet ANOTHER paperwork/wrong Bill's of lading mess up to handle when we catch up in Dallas. Why couldn't they run out of hours any dang place Besides Dallas ?!?!? The stress level here is stupid high. Gotta love it !

Can't even modify it to dummy. Dispatch wants us in Dallas at midnight. Impossible in this slow truck. Then Ontario at 8 am on Friday morning. Not gonna happen. Skipping eating and everything possible it still looks like 10 or 11 am at best. This place is an asylum.

 

I can "hear" ... I should say I can almost "feel" your pain Mr @MagnumaMoose .... just do what you can... too much stress will make you sick....

 

You must be new to Atlanta. The welcome package usually includes a card that says Atlanta just doesn't like you either, and stay away. You must have missed that. Now you know you should go via Nashville since there's never any traffic problems there.

 

Yep. My first time.ever. but I'm just riding along in the back with Mr Calm Cool and Collected handling the wheel. Not too bad. I managed to stay asleep. Technically I haven't driven since last Friday. Even spent one night at the residence. In between calls to "go ahead and go to the yard. I mean it this time."

 

Delivered at Sterling Illinois Walmart.. looked for a short load to kill my 70 it was all dead. But since I’m here figured I’d take a 34 or whatever they call it early and things should pick up tomorrow.
