Over 13,500 miles for August. Of course this trip I'm delivering right now will be turned in for September, but I drove all the miles in August.

This new truck is pretty sweet. Been driving it for a couple weeks now. It's at 5,503 mileage. My only real gripe is that once in a while it will read off ramp speed limit signs and beep at me because it thinks I'm speeding. It only beeps at you when you're doing greater than 5mph over the speed limit, and only right as you pass a speed limit sign. It will alert you if you start to veer out of your lane too and you don't have your blinker on. The built in copilot GPS had some default settings that were driving me insane with a bunch of extra warnings, announcements, etc. But turning those off made driving enjoyable again. I randomly get a check coolant light once in a while. Beeps a few times and then stops. Coolant level is fine and temp is also fine. I'll have to have that checked out. I know you guys said new trucks usually have a few kinks to work out in the beginning.

I found out we're able to adjust the volume for the Bendix alarms. Can't turn it off or all the way down, but it's at least a decent volume. The default setting was full blast and annoying.

The storage space (upper bunk) is awesome. Tons of storage space up there.

The transmission is a learning transmission. If I'm bobtail, it starts out in 4th gear. If I have a trailer, it starts out in 2nd gear. Put it in drive and let off the brake and it will tug along at a comfy 2mph on it's own. Pretty nice.

This truck can carry 20 more gallons of fuel than my 15 truck (and better fuel economy).

So far I'm still happy with an automatic. My hand misses my hand rest, but my feet don't miss the movement. I like when I get on the interstate I can get up to 20mph, turn on the cruise and use the buttons to increase the cruise up to highway speed, then let the automatic do all the rest of the work. :)

Overall this truck feels like an upgrade. I like it.

It backs smoothly. I think it's a learning process. The 2mph creep is a tad too fast to bump the dock, at least for me. It hits a bit rough. But I've been pushing and releasing the brake repeatedly to bump docks. It's just those last few inches that I'm still learning to manage. But it's nice not having to use the accelerator at all. That helps a lot. It takes a few seconds to move, but it's still better than switching between accelerator and brake, in my opinion.

Creep mode will back under an empty trailer no problem. I backed under a loaded trailer once so far and it didn't quite make it all the way so I had to help it a little.

Good to hear. Been seeing a lot of bent fairings lately. Guess you just have to be patient.
