You are right, a wind tunnel is not the only method. I used it as an example of a scientific sae endorsed independent test. Any sae endorsed independent testing method would suffice.

If a company won't have their product sae tested they won't get my money. The only reason not to is because they fear the test results.

 

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but some of that testing may be cost prohibitive to a start up whose product may work great. I will also look for reviews on the product in question which was the reason I bought the Airtabs, but my main reason for buying them was for that stability and keeping my mirrors clean and for that, the product worked great. As for fuel economy, not sure. I couldn't measure it. It may have been in the hundredths of a mile per gallon. Like you said, a lot of people all of a sudden start trying after a product is installed without having tried beforehand.

Freaked out earlier im glad i got my insite program. Had 6 faults show up for the turbo and after treatment system. Turns out by not starting the truck all the way it tricks the system thinking the after treatment system loses power. Was able to run the force regen to double check at the truck with to make sure its not broken.

 

KW told me to always turn the key off and wait 5 sec if the engine doesnt start so the computer will reset. Also said if you start the engine before the lights on the dash go out the sensors arent calibrated and might kill your mileage until its turned off and restarted.

 

Yeah think my starter is going or my ignition is messed up or just super sensitive. i have a bad habit not to let the key cycle though

Yup, I'd bet money that when he introduced himself he said "Coming here to Mercer was the best move we've made" lol. I think he gets paid to say that, I've heard him say it about 20 times.

 

They sent a video email out also talking about Main st being closed at 13th st for like 3 months right by the lounge.

 

Just seen that. doesn't seem like its really gonna affect us at all really. kinda wonder why its just that small spot though i was thinking it was near the Train tracks lol
