Naaah…, my wife's cousins neighbors brother in laws uncles friend worked for them. Hated it.

Know you worth driver,there are so many crap companies looking for drivers,ive never been a company driver but there are many companies starting at 60 cpm you Just have to look,The bigger the bonus the crappier the company,If you can recognize their name run,People will tell you Celerdon swift triple c is great ,All of these giant cookie cutter companies suck the same,As soon as a company talks about how safe they are ,run. The truck driving schools have done a great job brain washing newbs into this mega trucking philosophy, Trust me as soon as there is a problem they will use their safety department to end your career,i work for a small 20 truck fleet,i will never be asked to take a bac test at 7 in the morning,i will be radomed drug tested but if i cant pass we have 7 days to get there,my issue is medical not recreational,Our company doesn't tolerate drug use,but they would get you help before they hung you,99 percent of the time I'm clean,but it's nice to know if I was given prescribed drugs my career would not be over,I had a surgery, let them know what I was prescribed,guess what, my first day back safety put in orders for a random,3 days later i tested clean,if I'm a hundred miles from home and I'm out of hours,I can keep going ,Not something me or my company does regularly but if needed here or there its ok,How ever as a driver I get paid to turn miles. as a professional I don't make excuses about a job that I agreed to take,I do whatever it takes to get the job done,a lot of that requires speeding never more than 9 over and taking advantage of any loop hole or technique that makes it happen,9 years driving with clean record
