Running with JCT, Part Deux

3 tires in the last 3 trailers for me. I was in Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Southern California. Breakdown said it was the “heat”. The Goodyear road service guy said it was cheap ####ty recaps. Hmmmm who should I believe. LOL

 

Blowouts? Or wear down? The tires I'm having to have changed are worn out and really should have been changed before drop.

 

They were just shedding their recaps or were just basically ignored by the previous drivers and left for the next guy who was me.

 

Dear lord....

 

You can't miss that. That's just plain laziness and I dont get paid for that attitude that's making me look to leave after 8 years here.

 

The third one was the drivers side rear on the back axle of the tandem. I saw it in my mirror in the Banning weigh station. I just about #### myself. I rolled straight through...and t-called it to the yard.

 

I wonder when and where JCT is putting recap tires on the trailers. Been here 4 and half years and whenever I needed tires on a trailer; brand new virgin tires were always put on. Didn't matter if it was 1 tire or 6. Yes, I have had to get 6 tires replaced on a dropped trailer before.

 

I just got three new Bridgestone on this trailer...

####. How busy was the shop? Or did breakdown take their time?

 

It was shop. It wasn't busy...at first. But for some reason they pulled all their guys to work one truck and had a call out...I got back burnered
