Company was founded in 1965, in 1994 the founder sold the company to the current owner. He recently stepped back from running day to day operations and the new President is carrying on with the FCC way. For a company with over 400 trucks it still has a small company feel.

So I gotta ask... you used to drive for Abilene... I think... if so, how’s it compare to Abilene? I’ve got the itch to return to OTR and been approved to return to Abilene but FCC has caught my eye.
Also, do they even hire out of South Florida.
No, not expecting to be home every weekendLast edited: Oct 24, 2018

1. The lack of preplanning.
2. The swaps on loads.
3. And finally picking up loads that already late even before you hook to them.
All of these things constitute a lack of organization and planning in operations IMO. As far as hiring out of South Florida, I’m not sure. I know we have some freight that goes into Florida, but I would suggest calling recruiting and asking.Last edited: Oct 24, 2018
