Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

Why do they keep lowering their hiring standards?
-
They haven't lowered them. They are just making the process simpler. For example, it used to be if you failed a part of the roadtest or pretrip, you had to wait a year before reapplying. Now i think it's something short like a week or a month. You still need the accident free time as a cdla holder and such.Trucker61016 Thanks this.

You are exactly right.
-
I passed the pre trip and road test at Marcy. When it came to background they didnt hire me because one of the trucks I drove in the oilfields was a straight truck within the last 30 months. Even though I been driving 13 years no accidents, 120k log trucks. 105k crude oil tankers etc. They are strict to that "tractor trailer" last 30 months part.
Trucker61016 and VIDEODROME Thank this. -
I thought they did all that checking before you show up for orientation?
-
Apparently not. Just preliminary stuff. I did pre trip, road test and dot physical and passed same day. A couple days later they said they couldn't hire me due to driving a straight truck in the last 30 months.
-
Their loss though. I'm a good driver. Back in the oil patch now.
-
They had me do my drug test and dot physical out here on the road.
