You mean if I ran more miles I would make more money? Sorry. It doesn't always work that way.

Sure, sometimes I get high paying long haul freight. Weeks north of 10K aren't unheard of. But why in the world would I want to chase my tail hauling cheap freight 700 miles, if I can make make MORE money running a local and put in 200 miles? That makes NO sense.

Because some people think mpre miles equals more money when in reality more revenue equals more money.

Yep. Getting more revenue with less miles IS the goal, unless you are saddled with a low fixed rate per mile. In THAT case you gots to run you some miles, spend for fuel, and brag about the distance you covered

    No. Thanks.

4000 miles a week is #### near impossible unless you are in an ungoverned truck in the midwest, or have back-to-back drop and hook, long distance runs.

I am in a 65 MPH truck, and I have busted my ### chasing a 4000 mile week as a personal goal for nearly two years. I have managed 3900 miles in a week. Once. I have managed 3500-3700 miles maybe ten times.

I am on a drop and hook loop account with almost zero downtime.

4000 miles in a week as a goal is fine, but you aren't going to get it very often, even in an ungoverned truck, without all the stars and planets lining up :D.

Um it's easily possible my if my slow truck with a top speed of 62.5 can average me 3300-3700 a week anything is possible, un governed truck might average 4-5k miles a week if u have descent load times or drop and hook

I do 2500 a week in a six day week. I like my old summer schedule of 2000 a five day week much better.

600 mile days are hard. I can do one or two a week at best. I much prefer 400 and under

    Possible. Yes.
    Easily possible. No.

No matter what you do, no 4000 mile week will ever be 'easy' unless you are running an ungoverned truck at unsafe speeds.
