Linehaul guy broke down easy Friday!
Fuelinmyveins and caracelles Thank this. -
Looks like the storm I dealt with Sunday night. No chain law for Loveland pass for hazmat. They didn’t work the road so I spun out on a turn couldn’t chain waited 1.5 hrs for a wrecker. Came down barefoot then was gonna chain up at the next chain station but spun out on the hill before it. Same wrecker happened to see me and came back and pulled me up. Finally chained up got over vail. Made it to grand Junction and shut down. Next day dry roads.
We got another storm coming through tonight lucky I’m on a restart. Got to cover run tomorrow in Wyoming but I’m thinking by the time my restart is up the road will be closed. Wait and see.Last edited: Nov 16, 2018

Somebody fell asleep air lifted on dry roads in Wyoming. What’s funny is the MME yard is next door to us. Here we are sitting in this traffic stop next to each other coming out of Denver 262 miles from where we started.

I guess I'm off Today... Called manger around 10am and he said he only needs few drivers today that will do pick ups. Plus it goes by seniority. He said if I don't get a call by 2 pm then I'm off till Monday. I don't mind 3 day weekend

You should check on facebook page called ltl underground and ltl truck drivers. I've seen few Estes drivers post there. I applied to Estes before I got hired at FXF and someone from Richmond VA called me withing a week. They usually have openings for city drivers and CDL trainee
Their yard in Scranton is small. Breaking a set must be a hoot

Others may laugh but we in PA got hammered with freezing rain and some snow. Just another winter for some haha.
-
2-4 inches of snow, sleet, freezing rain, with a Winter Weather Advisory turned into 10 inches of snow and a Winter Storm Warning. Was parked at the hotel in Wilkes=Barre by noon. Watched the storm come in around 3 and it was a mess after that. 309 Business was at a stand still most of the night. Actually slept in till 5am, left the hotel at 6am to head to Dallas,PA. 309 north going up the mountain was still bad but the Volvo did good and got me up the hill, LOLLast edited: Nov 16, 2018
