The van division at Mercer is growing and steady. Just my 2 Penney worth as a door slammer at Mercer

I think he’s home quite abit. The runs he’s been on are out of Plainfield. Loads out and returns empty to grab another.

Maybe that was just his intention to do heavy haul. He bought a truck with a 3rd rear axle but like I said has been on regular flat bed all year. Same account. Now just started pulling vans through end of the year.

    Just my two cents...

I don't work for Mercer but if I could lease on to someone they would probably be where I would go to.

When I researched different companies to lease onto, their name just kept coming up with people happy that they went there.

Then I called them and got some information from them and even though I wasn't eligible I was very impressed with who I spoke with.

I also liked that if you wanted to take time off as long as you paid your weekly fees, nobody would bother you. It seems to be about as close to having your own authority without actually having it. And without the headaches and expense of it.

At Mercer you make your decisions. Where you want to run, when you want to run, what you want to load, how long you want to be out ,or stay home. They don't hold your hand and will let you go broke if that's what you want to do. When your with Mercer your success or failure is up to you.

Stay away from Mercer. Terrible bottom feeder carrier. They do not comply with the contract and they will screw you over if it’s to their advantage. Don’t learn this the hard way.
