Serious question. Can truck drivers drive without a shirt?

I drove during the summer wearing a wife beater tee shirt. In fact I have one on right now. In those situations where I felt like it was needed I had a regular shirt handy.

 

You won't believe what has been possible over the years. Or even necessary.

 

was at a pilot getting fuel and a guy pulled up in the next lane in a day cab and hopped out in his tightly whitey and proceeded to put on pants and shirt he said he didn't like air conditioning. ... choose not to start a conversation

I can't believe you could get pulled over without a shirt on.

If they think that you are naked where you are doing something to, let's say, make yourself happy, they may pull you over just for the hell of it.

Why on Earth would anyone not want to wear at least a light t-shirt?

And no offense, if you ride around without a shirt on you don't just look unprofessional, you look like a dirtball.

 

Personally i am to #### old to care if you wear a shirt or not. Ive been around long enough to see and do way to much to be judgemental.
I do not no if there us any law requiring you to wear a shirt, or anything else. I do no ever summer when I pass trucks. I see plenty or people (men and women) wearing nothing or next to nothing.

 

Not to mention it cuts down on nipple chafing from seatbelts.

 

A lot of companies want you to dress decently.

Most of the rest will want you to drive with clothes on.

 

I know a lot of drivers drive with no panties on. I hear it all the time.
