Who is the warranty through on the KW. A lot of the third party ones are effectively scams. Anything not through factory I wouldn’t trust IMO.

Factory extended warranty and I agree most are nothing but a scam.Midwest Trucker Thanks this.

I bought the truck at 375k but at 415k notice the rpm flutter and let it go until it was losing prime and major mpg lose. Power suffered as well. Westfall Volvo in KC Mo did the first set and failed under 35k. The warranty covered the next set at Denver Volvo same owners of Westfall.Siinman Thanks this.

Test drove a 670 from Westfall in KC and it felt like it needed to have the cups done. So I passed on that one.Socal Xpress Thanks this.

Correct about the Volvo injector cups. Wish I had known that a month ago. Had to have injectors and cups replaced last month and cost me a week off the road. Cost was $6600 dollars, plus the lost revenue. The starter failed the week after that.
Still the Volvo does well with most loads, though you won't be going up hills at lightning speed. If you are pulling a van or reefer, you will do fine with standard wheel base. If pulling flatbed or step deck, you will want at least a 240 inch or better to allow room for a chain rack.Siinman Thanks this. -
Kinda forgot about this thread. Most def I’d buy the KW.Siinman Thanks this.

Found out the KW had 52 percent idle time so I passed on it.

52% idle time and 430 000miles in 2Y's?
Engine must have been running 24/7?
Did you check the total hours on either off those trucks? -
Yes but waited to see the whole dump to see the whole story. Looking at a 670 tomorrow and hope to have better luck. Just not a lot of decent trucks in my area it seems.
