Watch out for those plain wrapper GT Mustangs in IN . Those things have paid for themselves 100 times over . On I-64 there's usually the maroon one and a full grown working between the 80 and 100 mile markers . There's usually quite a bit of protection on I-64 . Also the "no fly zone" on I-65 for about 10 miles north of the KY line .
Which States are the unfriendliest to truckers?

Louisiana, along I-10...after 7:00pm...your lucky to find a place to park.
Their rest areas are little slithers, right next to the interstate...
Colorado scales are very picky also...
I usually judge a states friendlinest (I know I know..that's not a word) by how big or well maintained their rest areas are...
I once got pulled over in Louisiana...cause I crossed a center line...and the next thing I knew...there was 6 sqaud cars behind the truck...Dot, police, county, state...undercover cars...
And in the end...they let me go without a ticket...I guess they were just bored... -
The state I hate going to the most is NY. The entire state.

I have never had any trouble in CA.
I go thru Truckee often, Wheeler Ridge just as much. the 4 times i have been pulled around back, the Staff has been friendly and Professional.
One even asked me what it was like to live in Utah, at the time i had been living in SLC. He was wondering, because he wanted to apply at the scales. A t the UT/ AZ Line.
Iv'e lost track of how many times i have done 60 in CA. and get passed by CHP. I hear on the radio, ofht ebear's 20, yet as go by, he/ she doesn't look at me.
AR. the rudest bunch of bears i have ever ment. No Politness of any type. What happened to Southern Hospitality?
