I was wondering what the passenger policy is for USA Truck. Summer break is coming up and I want to know if I can bring one of my boys along with me for a trip. Or both of my boys maybe...

It's in your employee handbook. I don't recall the specifics off the top of my head. Something like you must be OTR solo for 6 months beforehand, can have no more than 1 passenger at a time, must get permission from the company beforehand, and the passenger must be 16 or older.
Your best checking with the company or your handbook. I don't have mine handy so I'm telling you what I think I remember reading. I'm sure you don't have yours handy either since your here asking.
Hopefully someone can chime in with the specifics, otherwise just ask USA. -
asked my wife to look it up. FM must approve the passenger before one is allowed, only one passenger permitted, during the summer passenger must be 12 years of age or older, during the school year must be over 16. Corporate must have a birth certificate on file for the passenger, and the passenger must adhere to company dress code, and receive instruction/sign off from the insurance department.
Hope that helps.Baack and BulletTooth Thank this. -
Thank you very much.

No pets in company trucks.

Thanks! How 'bout LEASE OPERATOR TRUCKS?

There is also an insurance fee you have to pay. I think it's $6 a month or maybe a week. Can't remember. Just call your FM.

I read insurance is 7.00 a month.

I've snuck my wife in before for short trips but I'd never sneak my kid (7 yr old) on. Too many snitches about. I found out yesterday at W Memphis that some of our drivers call Safety to report all kinds of things. Dress up accessories on trucks, overpowered radios, stickers or flags, etc. I've heard of a driver getting fired over having an underage child aboard. I never report anybody for anything other than blatantly unsafe driving or unprofessionally bad behavior at a customer. I feel like those two things affect the livelihood of the company therefore indirectly affecting me. I guess others have nothing to do but tattle.
