Not always. At the risk of bringing back PTSD from remembering a specific thread, I won't mention a right hand turn thread he was involved in.. :)

"I will stick with reefer freight" would of been a wise thing to follow through on.

Saw a subtle one early this morning (driving home at 3am, unloading machine dun broke). sorry missed the picture, half asleep. Not much traffic at 3am and coming up on a flatbed hauling pipe. had to be 60' pipe on a 53, behind a volvo with a big sleeper (and not much catwalk). A foot or so front overhang about 6 to 7' over the back. In Colorado this is a legal load. Now we do 60' pipe all the time on 48's, but we have LONG catwalks, set it 5' over the front, that leaves you 7' over the back and in Colorado that's legal. (not oversize, can go up to 10' rear overhang). However you need a flag over 4' over hang during the day.

And of course you need a red light on it at night.

yeah no light. nothing at all. Not even a light where battery had gone dead, just no light. No care, no nothing.

That's going to be real surprising to someone coming up on him. Esp cuz the weather was getting worse, and I imagine he was heading to Wyoming (he was going north as was I).

BTW, STAY FAR AWAY FROM GUYS SETTING CONCRETE BARRIER.

you simply wouldn't believe the distances they want us to run totally unstrapped. (cuz there's no room in the lane closure to work).

    3 to 4 miles

On a freeway and then duck in between in the cones.

This is common and totally expected.

    I hate it.

Lasted all of a day didn’t it? I wonder what JCT thinks of their super star driver going around making videos of him breaking into equipment that is sitting on their yard? Maybe we should dig up a best of and send it to safety
