CFI Driver's What's Your 20? (2017 edition)

Relayed my Sparks Nevada load yesterday. Only got about 200 miles on it. Running on recaps I wasn't gonna make it by Friday. They asked if k wanted to reschedule for Monday but I said no. I figure I can get better than the 2200 miles I would have been stuck with if I kept that load if I relayed it. Doing a 34 now. Back on board around 10:30 tonight.

 

I like this nws graphic. When it's blowing and snowing, it shows as "bs" on the map.

 

B's on the map, B's on the truck... it's everywhere!!!

Big surprise got pulled off the Gretna deadhead to pick up a Waverly load going to mt Vernon Illinois. That's 2 loads out of Waverly over 500 miles! That takes the pain out of the Waverly triangle!!!

Another big surprise, went to a truck stop and there was a Subway in it...who knew?

 

Restart in the land of casinos? I'd have kept the load.

 

Na that would have only guaranteed me 2200 for the week and not even starting next week until Monday afternoon. I'd rather bot

 

Parked at the new loves on Nebraska 2. Almost dark and maybe 6 trucks here...glad I didn't go to the Sapp/Pilot mess down the road.

 

Haha I was there two weeks ago. It had a Hardee's or Carl's Jr I think. Nice little truck stop. Didn't fill up all night long

 

Darn kids and their crazy work ethics. 2200 is almost a full month for me. I gotta stop working so hard.

Looking at that weather over Nevada now I'm pretty happy i listened to my gut even more now.

 

Can't teach them...weekend in reno, then they have to bring home back so he gets the big week next week.
