Thats a good place to deliver too.

I unloaded this morning, the driver next to me unloaded yesterday evening, and I got a 798 mile trip for Monday morning and they told him there's no freight and to check back Saturday evening. We both have plenty of hours too. Lucky me, but I sorta think he should have got the load first.

That's going to bite them in the ### someday. I've had that happen to me before and I let them know that I knew about it. I've even had them go so far as to tell me that it is against Crete policy to talk to other drivers about their loads!

I wasn't mad at the other driver, I was mad at dispatch for going around me.

I'm pretty sure ET is back home this weekend.

I don't drive for Crete but I do drive for one of the leading refer companies. This week I sat 2 days, drove 2 days, sat 3 days. I can't pay my bills like this. Last week I got 2200 miles and I felt blessed (if that makes any sense). I get a lot of trips that are only 200 miles or so and I'm a 48 state guy. They tell me there is no freight, not even food. Don't people even eat anymore? My son drives for Central Ref. and he gets preplans out the wazoo. He NEVER sits. So what does Central know that no one else knows?

They know they can haul freight cheaper because they make money off of the O/Os in their FLEASE PROGRAM. :biggrin_25512:

If two months in the truck working 3 days a week is your thing, then you bet! It sounds like they need to do a mass firing and cleanse themselves of the dead weight and keep the good drivers busy instead of playing soduko puzzles at a Loves.
