Lol, the inmates have the day off?

 

I was supposed to do double turn rail, but then city dispatch called and said forget about the rail and come at 10am to do volume run. Now they got me doing swaps. Easy day so far, but I would rather do a rail.

With those new handhelds I feel like a secretary, gotta sign both copies one for us and the other for the shipper. Then you gotta confirm those #### bills twice. I spent more time sigining bills than driving. Ridiculous

Gotta "enjoy" those easy days while they last.

 

There are easier ways to vent a trailer.....

 

Have you not been signing the shippers copy of the bol?

 

They got me good today. Had like three inside deliveries.

 

No freight for me on my scheduled run today. They didn't sit me at home though, which is nice. I got a shorter little run to fill the gap. Less miles, but much better than none at all.

 

I have. Had 28 bills during the swap today. 56 pages to sign lovely.
