The Magnum rookies got quiet... not sure if that’s good or bad!

 

Zata, my high school would do a fund raiser with oranges and grapefruit from Florida. Yes! It doesn't take long when about 25 people are unloading. They have it down to a science!

 

At J&B in St Michael MN. Nice new facility. During the day, park in the staging area and walk to the welcome center to check in. After hours uses CB2. Been here an hour and haven't got a door yet. Going to McLabe Hebron KY then home for Doc appt:s. Thought I'd get a chance to warm up in Tennessee next week. Nope! Bringing the cold with me. Sat will be low to mid 50s then back into the 30s for highs and teens for lows. When it does warm back up, I'll be getting back to work!

 

I recently heard from Tony that if something happens to your truck there probably won't be a replacement because they're all full! I'm not sure if that means anything here. But overall I guess that's good news.

 

That's a lot better than having a lot full of trucks waiting to be filled! Specially in the current state of demand for drivers. And people say theres no money in driving lolol

 

Been better. Two weeks ago my dad had a stroke. I’ve been home helping him and trying to decide what I want to do. Because with his health I’m not sure I want to be over the road, and to be honest Magnum’s reaction to me needing to be home left a lot to be desired. As much as they say they are all about their drivers when I needed to get home they were more concerned with the load I was hauling than me.

 

Sorry to hear about your dad. No job is more important than family. Do what you Gotta do… There are plenty of jobs out there

 

Magnum have the trucking school? Have been asked by a couple of people looking for a trucking school.

 

As far as I know they still have the school at Coon Rapids. I’m sure that if they call and speak to Tony he can get them straight.
