I had a scale in VA that was wrong, once. I had scaled and had everything correct, then I got pulled in at the first weigh station in VA. They told me I was heavy on the tandems and to slide it back. I was a little confused, but I did it. Next scale I came to, they told me I was heavy on the drives, and I had to slide it back forward to where it was in the first place!
No fines, so I didn't fuss about it. Just a little extra hassle, that's all.
there is ONE GOOD thing about virginia!

I thought you were going to say anywhere west of 95 and south of Richmond.

That works unless you have a 48000 lb coil on a flatbed....then you set it just a little further back than the center of the distance between the drive and trailer axles..and find a scale..usally they let you axle at the shipper

That's nice they let you adjust it.
I have a button on my dash to make it "lighter"
