    1) I can't get insurance nearly as cheap
    2) I would only save maybe 7% after factoring, and
    3) The money I save would likely go to higher insurance anyways.
    4) Having new numbers means it would be harder to get loads. The carrier I'm with is already set up and in good standing with tons of them.

Plus I would have a crapload more work to do and I'm not interested in all that paperwork. All I have to do is book it and get it there. My settlements are on time and accurate except for one week out of 120 there was one error.

Not interested in getting my own numbers. It just doesn't make any sense right now.

    062 Thanks this.

    I hear you.
But still lots of money you losing.
Insurance is only high on first year. (I paid 14k for my first year)
You dont have to have factoring service many brokers offering free quick pay. 30 days is not bad once start flowing in.
Overall it is not so hard there is not much of paperwork.
You can download scanner pro application on you phone so you can send paperworks to broker by email. Only Landstar requires originals (thats dumb but they still doing it)
You can leased to any carrier with your numbers active till got some age.

I do one bracket and that's it. You're doing what Mike & Mike used to call "Sheets of Integrity". :)

Did you hear about the guy who has a perfect bracket so far? First time ever verified that someone has picked all first 48 games. The previous record was 39.

The odds of this happening are mind numbing.

And every single percent is going to be crucial if the market stays bad for a couple years. God forbid it got worse! Might be the difference between making it and not. Or between continuing to make progress or barely skimming by.

You started at the start of a really unique time. Getting through and persevering this next step is what’ll decide if you’re in this for the long haul or not. IMO.

If enough foul truckers leave nasty surprises, yes.

When was it worse? I think that this time, two years ago, it was not any better but I can go that far only.

2015(or was it 2016?) was bad, much worse than today. 2008 thru 2009 made 2015 look like a great market.
