A lot like cicadas in the midwest and lovebugs in FL. Both of which are easier to run over than deer.

I was coming up the FL. T-pike on one my first trips in a big truck and hadn't been told about the love bugs. That was an experience.

When you know you're gonna be bombarded with bugs, spray down the front end with Pledge furniture polish. They will rinse right off. Also pour a few oz of 409 in your washer tank too.

@RedForeman you ever been to filet of chicken in forest park? I’m guessing they had a few weapons pulled on them.

Rocks, Tall Mike and BigBob410 Thank this.

Two security guards when you walk in with metal detectors. They get really uptight when you walk in with three blades on your person.

chopper103in, Tall Mike and Feedman Thank this.

Seems excessive, but I agree probably due to some recent incident. Wouldn't have held me up except steel toe shoes and my belt buckle. I never had the need to carry blades or the like, unless it was work related.

chopper103in, Rocks, Tall Mike and 2 others Thank this.

    Stories about cleaning vehicles?

When I lived in Pasadena California I learned of a trick. Take a lemon (lemon trees are evrywhere in So Cal) and poke a hole in the side with a pencil. Lay a piece of saran wrap over the hole and stuff a firecracker in the hole. Back in the mid 70's we would toss this lit off an over pass. The lemon would shred and leave lemon shards on vehicles. In California those shards dehydrated quickly and latch onto the paint. An in the know resident of So Cal would toss a wet rag over the shard for 15 mins and the shard fell right off. The dumb ones would grab the shard dry and peel their paint on their vehicle.
