I know one thing about TMC, from their website and from seeing their trucks on the highway. They're very anal about their trucks, every one I've ever seen for the past 30 or so years has been pretty much spotless. Now wether they pay for streakin' Beacon or the drivers are doing it themselves I don't know.I read some reviews and it seems like the trucks might be treated better than the drivers. That too is just speculating and could possibly be dis grunted drivers. I think if I was interested in hauling a skateboard and working for a mega, they would probably be my first choice, they definitely have nice equipment and always have. As far as pay and dispatch, you're on your own. Good luck if that's you're choice.

What I notice about them from outside is I don't see any of their trucks having auxiliary power units, which are diesel or battery powered units that provide heat/air conditioning, and electricity when the truck is not running. I THINK they also are pretty strict about not idling the engine except under certain circumstances. 1 or 2 people have told me they think they do have APUs but I have never seen one on any TMC truck.
If they have no APUs they almost certainly don't allow power inverters. Inverters are devices that allow you to have household electrical power in the truck, which means no microwave oven, etc.
Maverick Transportation is another top-quallity starter flatbed company. You might investigate them if you live in Maverick's hiring area and if APU/inverters are an important factor in your decision. I can get along without a microwave in my truck by using the microwave at truck stops/customers. But I will not work for a company that has no APU or requires me not to idle except in extreme hot/cold weather. The other company employees are not sleeping at home in a house with no heat/cooling/electricity to try and make the company more profitable.SuperRookie, TokyoJoe, Vic Firth and 3 others Thank this. -
Every TMC driver Ive talked to, otr and dedicated enjoys working for them.
They wash the trucks weekly, so thats why they're always clean. They're limited to 62mph so enjoy the scenery.
They haul a lot of construction materials, so heavy but simple freight.Carthiefninja, Suspect Zero, Puppage and 3 others Thank this. -
