You can't drive your truck in NJ. You have to be plated in Jersey to do it. When I first started as an OO I hauled containers with my own plate and IFTA.

 

That would be another state I won’t miss. Nj New York or California y’all can have them

I stopped running California for a few reason speed limit and limited availability of loads that paid decent coming out. And Quala out that way is terrible

 

But the weather is great. QUALA the parking is horrid. I go out there once a year. I run to chi town often, but I'm from up there, so I like it.

 

It was funny, I thought it was going to be a regular inspection, but then this cute DOT lady with a sweet disposition jumped up on the passenger side and told me to pull around following the truck ahead of me. Then they stuck some device down my stack and had me rev the motor to 1500 until she said stop. Then the cute lady put a sticker on the inside of my windshield on the passenger side so I'd get a pass if I got pulled in again for an emissions test during the same quarter.

The sticker is expired but I liked that lady so much that I haven't removed it lol.

Just catching up on my reading , been kinda busy.

That plant makes Liberty herbicide, Bayer had to spin off the Liberty to get Monsanto bought. Part of the anti trust bs. And BASF was the lucky new owner of the Liberty and Couple other labels.
Bayer is still making Liberty in KC for BASF. Crazy,, its all in the paperwork.

Sitting in western Kansas. Unloading my herbicide in the morning. Then back to Louisiana for more.

6am appt. Loaded by 7:30, going on 3 hrs.waiting For C of A

 

Loading milk in Gila Bend. Stupid cows must be having a contest over who can milk more because the dairy has been making more milk than they should be able to with the cows they have. Adds a little stress when you're already at capacity. Then add milk plants being full.....if I wasnt already bald, I would be now
