The best way is to pay up front. If you do not want to pay any money up front you can go through Driver solutions just do a google search it will come up. You can read about there program and how it works

Contact your States Job Center, and apply for the WIA program.... It's free, for displaced workers. Then hold on to your CDL, untill the economy picks up....
BE SURE your training school, has a FREE REFRESHER COURCE OPTION !

    Good Luck !

The states will not give you a dime unless you are unemployed. As a retired vet, with a job and recieving a federal pension, they told me to go pack sand.

if you pay for their school their is no reimbursment.
you have to go to an acredied school then they will reimburse you at 100 a month up to 3600 dollars.

And many drivers that counted on that found themselves terminated in less than a year with a bad DAC report .

So what are we saying here? If you pay up front, you run the risk of getting S*#% canned within the first year? :biggrin_25512: Getting pretty confused here.

With the three plans USA has, I cant understand what the difference is between the first 2 options outside of a little down payment and 1 cent cpm. ( I know 1 cent adds up over the miles). Since the first 2 are a year contract, is there any more job security since they own yer butt for a year?

There is NO security . They don't own you for a year . They can terminate you anytime and then you owe them . Who knows ? Maybe you'll get lucky and make it . But a lot of it is luck . Nobody plans accidents . Some drivers have had accidents that were not their fault ruled as preventable .
